About Me
Kia ora, I’m Greg — founder of Moana Compass.
Born and raised in New Zealand with deep Rarotongan (Cook Islands) and Bora Bora (French Polynesia) heritage, the Pacific has always been part of who I am. My ancestors were master wayfinders, navigating vast oceans using the stars, swells, and winds. That same spirit guides the way I help people plan their trips today.
I spent 13 years living in the USA, which gave me real insight into what travellers from the North American coast are looking for in the South Pacific. After travelling extensively across Asia, Australia, the Cook Islands, French Polynesia, and New Zealand, my family and I made Norfolk Island our home just over two years ago.
I bring all that personal experience together with full access to a massive booking inventory (powered by Expedia TAAP and fully branded as Moana Compass). My goal is simple create honest, practical itineraries that make your Pacific dream into an achievable and unforgettable adventure — with warmth, respect, and a real sense of connection.
